Terms of Service & Data Protocol

These Terms of Service constitute a legal agreement between you ("User", "you") and MinoAI / "The Architect" responsible for the development of ALFRED. By accessing, downloading, installing, or using ALFRED, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
ALFRED relies on frontier AI models (OpenAI API, Google Workspace APIs, and other third-party services) to provide email intelligence, contact discovery, and triage automation. By using ALFRED, you authorize the transmission of your email metadata and contact information to these services. Your data is processed under the privacy policies of those respective providers.
ALFRED is an AI-powered email management platform that helps you organize, triage, and discover contacts within your email ecosystem. This application allows you to: connect your email account (Gmail, Outlook, etc.), leverage AI-assisted contact discovery, rapidly triage messages through Tinder-like swiping, organize conversations, and manage your inbox with unprecedented speed and intelligence.
ALFRED processes your email in real-time on our secure infrastructure and does NOT store complete copies of your email body content unless explicitly requested by you for permanent indexing and search functionality.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use ALFRED. You agree to provide accurate information during account registration and maintain the confidentiality of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. MinoAI is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard your login credentials.
ALFRED integrates with third-party email providers (Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft 365, etc.). Your use of ALFRED requires you to grant explicit OAuth 2.0 permissions to access your email account. You may revoke these permissions at any time through your email provider's settings.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ALFRED for your personal and professional email management only. This license is strictly personal to you and may not be shared, rented, or sublicensed.
You may not:
Your Email Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of all email data. ALFRED does not own, claim rights to, or repurpose your email content. Email bodies are encrypted and processed only when you explicitly request advanced features (indexing, AI analysis, etc.).
Metadata vs. Content: ALFRED may access email metadata (sender, recipient, subject line, timestamp) to provide triage and contact discovery features. Email body content is NOT accessed, stored, or indexed by default—only when you enable specific features.
Contact Information: Contact records discovered through ALFRED remain your property. We do not retain or reuse contact information you discover for any purpose other than providing ALFRED functionality to you.
ALFRED utilizes frontier AI models to analyze your email patterns and generate triage recommendations. This includes:
Your data transmitted to these services is governed by their respective privacy policies. MinoAI does not train its own models on your personal data (per our API agreements with these providers), but you should review third-party privacy policies to understand their data practices.
AI models can make errors and provide inaccurate classifications. You should always review AI recommendations before taking action on them.
You agree not to use ALFRED for:
MinoAI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
Application IP: All intellectual property rights related to ALFRED itself (software code, algorithms, UI/UX design, logos, and visual elements) remain the exclusive property of MinoAI / The Architect.
Your Content: You retain all rights to your email data, contacts, and user-generated content within ALFRED.
ALFRED is provided "as is" and on an "as available" basis. While we strive for high uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Service interruptions may occur due to:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue ALFRED at any time. Major changes will be communicated with reasonable notice when possible.
ALFRED IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE MAKE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES REGARDING THE APPLICATION.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MINOAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
You acknowledge that you bear responsibility for backing up critical email and maintaining independent copies of important information.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, we will remove all data we directly control within 30 days. Data stored by third-party email providers (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) is not affected by ALFRED account deletion and remains under the control of those providers.
We may retain aggregated, anonymized usage data for analytics and service improvement purposes.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from these terms or use of ALFRED shall be resolved through binding arbitration or litigation in court, at the discretion of the parties involved.
